Life

So, this evening was like any other evening. I would go to my German language class in the hopes of getting out of here soon, then head to a special spot where a bunch of us unlike-minded people meet and attain enlightenment together after which I hit the gym and you know, move stuff.

Anyway, here I am doing my own thing on the treadmill when an elderly couple show up for a trial class. Nothing out of the ordinary right? But the thing is, the man was a typical Indian grandpa who you'd find sipping tea with a newspaper in the mornings (6 A.M, yeah...I know) while cribbing about how things were different in his time, and the woman was a red-headed Irish woman who kept smiling and encouraging this man (her husband) to work out.
Now, this might seem normal to most people but just put yourself in either of their shoes and try to imagine the scenario in which they might have met. (Easily 60 odd years ago)
Me being in a heightened state of mind didn't let this slide easily as I went deep into their world and tried to figure out how they started to speak to each other and how they went from 2 complete strangers from very different backgrounds into such a warm, loving and supportive couple.
Watching them pep talk each other and smile through their entire routine was something that really baffled (tripping balls to be precise) me. No hint of anxiety, insecurity, ego, pride emotions between them . Just pure, inexhaustible love.

This story does not have any glaring moral about life or love. It was just a surreal moment to try to get into the mind of such interesting people and try to figure out life from their perspective and I figured if I shared this and more people did this on a more regular basis, the world would be void of a lot of irrelevant resentment.
And no, this doesn't mean you need to be in a heightened state of mind to understand and appreciate such thoughts but it sure does help.

Such entropic thoughts are the true blessings.
